I am making my own version of Miraculous! (Not hate tho,I just want to explore these characters in my own way)

i called it Miraculous: rewriten and its a fic i am working on, i have only a few words and is still a wip but i already made some chages:

Marinette recently moved to paris ( so I can introduce the characters better)

she is in fact an outcast and genuinely shy, like, can't make phone calls shy or can't talk in class shy.

chloe is now based on regina george, (of the latter I am not sure)

his school is private and elite to justify a model and the mayor's daughter going to the same school as a baker's daughter.

Anyway I just wanted to share it here to see your opinions on what things you would like to change or what you are not sure about !

I get annoyed by people still insisting that Chloe is evil while ignoring Andre, Gabriel and Sabrina's redemption arc

But remember, Chloe is evil because Marinette is traumatized (Which is funny for the person who was the scapegoat and I feel like Thomas is throwing mud at me)

I have the impression that people keep forgetting that Chloe is like this because her wise father didn't think to sign her up for therapy, because why? It's better to buy her everything and destroy her, and finally throw her out and replace with a better model

But no, instead of broaching Andre's guilt, they made him the daughter and wife victim (Alador Blight would facepalm if he saw this)

If you get the context of why Chloe is like this and who made her do it, it's obvious you're going to feel disappointed with this show

But remember, instead of suffering the consequences for how you raised a child, throw it away and replace it with the one you haven't destroyed yet

Andre and his redemption arc is what I described, I already mentioned Sabrina and Gabriel, the whole fandom talks about it, but Andre pissed me off the most because I've been watching this show since the first season, I quit it after spoiling Chloe's arc, happened episodes from the fourth season, but I did not watch them with such interest, because this series has become an exemplary day

Yes, you heard right, I used to like this series, but after this arc, Chloe started to smell like all those productions that also pissed me off as a kid because of similar and even the same themes

Chloe in the first season was indifferent to me, the typical mean girl who teased me as a kid and everyone had to follow her rules or they wouldn't have a life, which is something that quite a lot of people have come across, nothing unusual

Two years of waiting for the second season, anyone else remembers those times when the first season ended in such an emotional moment, because this show still had some level of writing?

Then season 2 came along and things started to change, I started to care about the mean girl who was like the one who teased me (A bit like Amity Blight), yes I started to care about the mean girl who was indifferent to me all these years and that there was something unusual, but also unusual, I followed her development and believed that, that she was close to being a better person (I didn't want her to be good, but being a better person is always a success) and then I got punched in the face because Thomas is like a baby and he was sulking

I've mentioned many times that I hate wasted potential and Chloe is that, so that's how I go about it

The show could have had an interesting lesson and broken the status quo, but we all know how it really was and it was overwhelming because what was it for? I feel like my attention and time was used for no reason, I feel a bit like after SVFOE and the final, disappointment and the feeling that it wasn't worth getting involved in because I just got a bad taste

I didn't expect Chloe to become a Saint Mary, I was hoping that she would start making progress to become a better person, even making mistakes where she would need time to understand everything that happened because people need time to heal. to come to and understand something, it's normal

Apparently, this is too much for Thomas and the anti-Chloe people to understand

Is it really so weird for people that as a former scapegoat who was bullied by people like Chloe and Sabrina, I still wish Chloe would get the redemption arc and she could slowly learn to become a better person in the end, not perfect, because I don't want perfect, and Chloe's meanness could be used for good purposes many times over

You know what I hate as a creator? That you can't give a character before the arc without seeing hatred for that character, and often even after passing the arc he will be hated…

Seriously, I saw someone attacking Lumity and calling her "Toxic" because Amity was so bad… Because she rejected everyone… Yes, she literally hates a character who was a victim of abuse from her mother and had to develop a fucking defense mechanism… But you know, if you are a child and you can't cope with the trauma, it's better to kill yourself, because your change for the better means nothing

This is how I feel when I see the fandom and how it treats multi-dimensional characters…

Mabel Pines and Dipper Pines… Just those two…

I know it doesn't fit but it pisses me off that Mabel is hated in the fandom for being a fucking child

So what if Ford was at fault for not telling Mabel about the crack? It's obvious that it's her fault because as a child, she couldn't handle it mentally due to the excess of negative stimuli from that day…

And I'm not saying I don't like Ford, it's just that people don't blame Stan or Ford, they blame a 12 year old fucking child

Stan joked and mocked Dipper, Mabel only repeated his actions but the fanodm forgave Stan because not only did they love him, but in one episode he said that he was a dick to Dipper because he wanted him to be strong… Bullying doesn't fucking lead to that

Can you fucking blame the adult characters and not the fucking children?

I have the same problem with the miracolous fandom that hates Chloe and defends her father who was a fucking corrupt politician

I'm just fucking fed up with the fandom siding with the torturers and not the fucking children…

I know these memes are different (Not about blue MAGA and Zionists but as a creator I'm irritated by all this)

I dropped out after destroying Chloe's bow, because something sparked in the back of my head (And I think it was right), I mean, I considered Lila worse than Chloe, so it probably hasn't changed since the first season, although I was surprised that Thomas decides that it is different and that Chloe is worse than Lila

Even though my dislike for Lila is not at the level of many people in the fandom, I'm still surprised that they could lead to someone taking their own life because that person liked Lila and the fandom devoured her, for example (Seriously, it's one thing to dislike a character, and another to harass someone because I like)

Seriously, people who like Chloe also go (Or those who were angry at what the third season did to her, because in the first season I was indifferent to her, and in the second I got seriously involved in order to get a smelly fish from Thomas, for example) and many times I have met such people, they assume that someone is the torturer, because he likes Chloe (Greetings from the former scapegoat), so not only those who like Lila have a hard time here

Seriously, the fandom can be annoying sometimes, I like it, but sometimes it crosses the line (And Thomas as a creator doesn't help)

I guess the main reason is that the series seriously has the vibe of a 2010 production, seriously, it's the writing (Only even worse, because it's written by a guy who supposedly should already have experience and should also know how to write it so that it doesn't look worse than a thirteen-year-old's fanfic, because at least they try to give more depth to what they write, and here the explanation is at least too little experience, so yes, a person with 30 years of experience writes worse than thirteen-year-olds)

Seriously, I feel like Thomas is regressing rather than growing in his skills, which is terrifying

Sometimes it's sad when you discover that miracolous is renewed and many better series are canceled for various reasons, something that Thomas should use, he uses to extend it to make more money and it's so sad (I am a person who is interested in animation and unfortunately, but corporations have done a lot of bad things with animation)

Seriously, years ago I could defend miracolous, but now, I just don't feel anything towards this series, a bit like with SVFOE (But there was pity here, because you didn't have to wait two years for the continuation, yes, between the first and second season was so long break), I liked this series (Even though the filers tired me), but the finale ruined everything and now I have no feelings for this show, as if it never existed in my life

Though let's be honest, miracolous and SVFOE have a lot in common when it comes to disappointment and the fandom itself

Hating characters because they destroy their dream ship was present in these two fandoms (I hate ship wars, and I met people who wanted a rival for Amity to appear in TOH because the relationship is too calm, yes, because it was needed, more ship wars)

Let's be honest, if there is a character that "Destroys" a ship, the fandom automatically hates her/him (Kagami and Luka, and in SVFOE Jackie herself), so thanks Dana for not giving a rival to Amity, otherwise the fandom would become a war zone and there would be war everywhere explosive mines

I have the impression that this hatred for Lila may be about destroying the ship (Another obstacle, so the fandom hates her), because although she is a terrible person, this hatred for the character matches that of the ship war

Because you know, Lila is getting too close to Adrien himself, which is a sign for the fandom that it's time to start hating her because she's destroying the ship they want to become real

I don’t normally criticize or even insult this hard but these are the few times I’ll do because I’m not the only one having enough of a certain fandom’s shenanigans:

I used to tolerate and even slightly like Miraculous Ladybug for several years since they were first released just bc their opening was catchy.

However, ever since “Chameleon” was released, it started a huge trend of Lila Rossi hate content. I’ve never seen such a magnitude of hatred on a controversial fictional character or even other characters who are innocent compared to previous shows I’ve watched. And y’all have seen it corrupt and infect other fandoms when they crossover since the late 2010s to even the present…

The last fucking straw was when I was searching for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer fics on here, an untagged salt fic showed up with it! I was like fuck this, I’m removing anything miraculous out of my social media blogs and bookmarks/favorites on fanfic sites I use!

And Thomas Astruc is a rather pathetic human being, because he projects himself a little too much by stating that Chole is based off of his past bully; him and his ex girlfriend had a virtual daughter, Marinette. I have nothing against self-inserts but this is a bad example, not letting go of the past that leaks into popularized fictional media where.

At this point I think Miraculous is not worth of anyone’s time, new curious viewers or former fans.
